Integral Skin

PU foam with integral skin consists of a cellular heart covered by a solid skin of controllable thickness and hardness. It is made with the use of a mold that allows to create excellent textures and surfaces.

Uses of the process

Integral Skin foams are mainly used when you want to give resistance without losing comfort. A cross-section of the product shows a high strength densified layer, with thickness ranging from 1 mm to 5 mm, with a soft core, which allows the foam to mold to the body and, when not used, to return to its original state, without remaining with irregular marks.
